What are high solid Coatings?
High solids coatings in its simplest form means the coating is extremely concentrated to provide the most gloss, slickness and hydrophobics that are possible in the industry.
We also have nothing to hide. We send our coatings to be independently tested by market leaders around the world all of which pass with flying colours! Many manufacturers claim “warranties” however at IGL Coatings all our coatings have undergone accelerated testing to prove the warranties to give you the best possible products we can and peace of mind with every purchase.
How does a ceramic coating work?
Our coatings will create a bond to your cars paint surface and cure to 8H, 9H & 10H. This is the hardness of the coating when fully cured and to give you an idea of that hardness automotive paint is rated at around 5H on the hardness scale.
