Our Show Debut - Waxstock 2024
We would like to thank every single detailer, business and customer who came to visit us at our first official show. We were humbled by the genuine interest and excitement in all of our products from ceramic coatings to quick detailers and the absolute hero of the show Aegis! The absolute pinnacle of what's possible in our industry.
This being our first show and us being previously mainly focussed on professional detailers we never expected to have the response we got, we are all overwhelmed by the volume of enquiries and the love for what we do and how we do it.
We have learnt a massive amount for the next show and have lots of exciting things coming up in the UK to disrupt the market.
FAQ’s from Waxstock 2024
A couple of frequently asked questions at the show which we want to reiterate as we think it's so important for customers and detailers to understand the products that are going on their vehicles and why we are in a league of our own for care care and detailing products.
White Label
We got asked by nearly every detailer/business we spoke to if IGL Coatings are white label, the answer is … don’t swear at us! Absolutely not, all of our products are developed, created and bottled in our HQ in Malaysia who have an in house research and development team. We include some of the most talented detailers throughout the world in this process and the UK is essential to this.
For those of you who aren’t familiar with white label products, this is the process where a brand is rebottled and sold under a different name and usually a different price. The only difference you may notice sometimes is the smell or colour of the product to make them feel different.
Detailers and businesses are more familiar with this process and it is very common in the industry, at the show alone there were many brands that do this and whilst this is common practice you need to be aware of what you are buying and why cheaper is most definitely not better.
The benefit of IGL Coatings producing everything in house is we know the products inside out, we know all of the ingredients, what their purpose is and only use products that are completely safe for any vehicle that you choose to ceramic coat, wash, quick detail, polish and love.
TUV?
Again something else 90% of brands don’t have or understand is TUV testing.
This is the process of testing, inspecting, certifying products and systems to ensure no potential hazards and prevent damages.
It is important you are aware that the products you are going to apply have been vigorously tested so you know it is safe and will not cause damage!
IGL Coatings are proud to be one of the very few manufacturers to TUV test all products ensuring they are perfect for our customers be that professionals or public. In short we do things properly and are widely known as the governed brand in an ungoverned industry to give you peace of mind.
Talk to me about Aegis
Now Aegis, what can we say about Aegis other than what a phenomenal response. We only say this because we can … IGL Coatings Aegis is the BEST anti corrosive coating in the world. Bold but true and here’s why.
This product is the next level and was recently launched in the UK and wow did it get some attention yesterday. Every customer and business who came to see us had a genuine interest in Aegis to the point people were coming to find our booth to ask questions and learn all about this amazing innovation.
Aegis is an award winning graphene reinforced anti-corrosion clear coat that has been 6000 hour salt spray tested, 4000 hour water immersion tested and of course TUV tested (but you already knew that). Put simply IGL Coatings Aegis is in a league of its own and we are only scratching the surface with this technology.
With up to a 30 year durability, why wouldn’t people be interested in this product? The results speak for themselves, for those of you who saw our 2 demo products on display know exactly what this product is capable of and for those who didn't there are some pics below to show. The proof is in the pudding!
Although Aegis is an accredited only product and requires correct preparation we have teamed up Ice Cold Tools to provide our installer network with everything they need to ensure this product lives up to its name and you receive the pinnacle of what's possible in the industry.
